Scope of Service
Al Majed Equipment Rental provides scissor lift, man lift and forklift rental services to companies, contractors and individuals within Saudi Arabia, subject to the terms outlined below.
Quotes and Booking
Quotes provided are valid for a specified period stated at issuance. A booking is only considered confirmed once both parties have finalised delivery and payment details.
Delivery and Collection
Al Majed commits to delivering the equipment at the agreed time and location. The client is responsible for providing a safe, suitable site for the equipment’s operation and receipt.
Equipment Use
The client is responsible for using the equipment according to the technical instructions provided and operating it through qualified personnel. Al Majed provides basic operating guidance upon delivery.
Maintenance and Breakdowns
All equipment undergoes scheduled maintenance prior to delivery. Should a technical fault occur during the rental period that is not caused by misuse, Al Majed will repair or replace the unit at no additional cost.
Liability for Damage
The client is responsible for any damage resulting from misuse of the equipment or use outside the agreed purpose, as detailed in the final rental agreement.
Payment
Payment terms (deposit, instalments, or final payment) are set out when the final quote is issued, and amounts due must be settled by the agreed dates.
Cancellation and Rescheduling
Clients may request cancellation or rescheduling of a booking with sufficient notice before the delivery date, as specified at booking. Cancellation fees may apply depending on the stage of order preparation.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws and regulations of Saudi Arabia, and any disputes are referred to the competent authorities within the Kingdom.
